That Boy A.B. was recenty proclaimed one of three winners in the TC-Helicon Cover Song Oppurtunity through Indaba Music for his cover of Rihanna's "Diamonds" Remix featuring Janelle Miller. 

  That Boy A.B. is a lyrically gifted recording artist from the suburbs of New Jersey. He has built a following around his ability to tell stories in his music. His lyrics create vivid images that his fans can relate to. He has performed at numerous venues in Philadelphia, including Treasures Banquet Hall, The Arts Garage, and the famous "Trocadero" venue on Arch Avenue. Although he has been writing and rapping since age 12, he has been showcasing his musical talent through performances and social media websites, and has generated a very loyal fan base.

After catching a felony drug charge in the summer of 2009, A.B. spent one more semester in college before dropping out to serve his sentence. He kept himself busy in jail by reading and writing and continued to keep himself in shape by working out. Upon his release, he started to take his music more seriously, and the momentum he built up in 2010 has carried over. 

A.B.'s first Official Music Video, "Change For Me", which tells a heart-breaking story of a past relationship gone bad from drug-addiction, got over 1,000 hits on Youtube within the first 24 hours of its release. He has been featured on sites such as MTV, Pandora, and World Star Hip Hop. A.B. will be releasing a promotional mixtape in May 2013 and will follow that up with his first EP.
